The roll of honour commemorates those from the Correen District who served in World War Two. 

Residents of Coreen and district are invited by advertisement in this issue to attend a public meeting to be held Wednesday (tomorrow) night in the Coreen Hall, for the purpose of selecting a design from samples submitted, for an Honour Roll, in honour of the servicemen and women from the district who served in World War II.
