Marine Underwriters Honour RollPrint Page Print this page

The Marine Underwriters Honour Roll is a framed photograph of the original roll which is missing.

A beautiful roll of honour bearing the names of soldiers who had been connected with the marine insurance business was unveiled at the rooms of the Marine Underwriters Association of South Australia, Limited, Davenport Chambers, Currie street, Adelaide, at noon on Monday. The ceremony, which was impressive, was performed by the Chairman of the Association (Mr. W. A. Patterson) in the presence of a large gathering of members. The roll bears 63 names, including those of two men who have won the Military Cross, and seven who have made the supreme sacrifice.  The names of other soldiers have still to be added.
