The marble tablet with lead lettering was erected by the Lambton Ladies Anzac Club ito commemorate those who died in service or were killed in action in World War One. 

A Roll of Honour, in memory of the Lambton soldiers who have died on active service, which has been erected at the post-office by the Lambton Ladies Anzac Club will be unveiled on Saturday.
