St Matthew`s Roll of HonourPrint Page Print this page

The honour roll commemorates those connected with the church who served in World War One.

The annual meeting of St. Matthew's Church of England was held last Wednesday evening. The old office-bearers were re-elected. Rev. J. R. Hill presided. It was decided to hold a concert in September in aid of the church funds. The honor board has come to hand, and is to be unveiled on Sunday next by the Bishop of Ballarat at 3 o'clock. Miss Blanche Carter, of Ballarat will render a solo. It is expected that there will be a large congregation present.
