Fifty-one trees commemorate 101 former students of the school who served in World War One.

Funding for the memorial was received in March 2016 through the saluting Their Service Community Grants Program.

ANZAC tree planting

These 51 trees were planted on 2nd July 2015 by our families in memory of the 101 former scholars of Stirling East Primary School who went to World War 1.

The planting commemorates the centenary of the Gallipoli landing.

This memorial was erected by the Stirling East Primary School in conjunction with the RSL Stirling Sub Branch with the assistance from the Department of Veteran Affairs.

Unveiled by Mr Stephen Measday Principal, Stirling East Primary School and Mr Eli Sleiman President of the RSL Stirling Sub Branch on 11 November 2015
