The Simpsons Hill ANZAC Memorial commemorates the 75th anniversary of the ANZAC landing at Gallipoli, In Turkey in April 1915 during World War One, and those who died in service or were killed in action at Gallipoli and in subsequent conflicts.

Funding was received through the ANZAC Centenary Grants Program to upgrade the existing memorial to incorporate the role of Medical Services in World War One.

On ANZAC Eve children, teachers and parents of Gilmore and Chisholm Primary Schools commemorate the memory of  those Australians lost at Gallipoli and in subsequent conflicts.
