The monument commemorates the men and women from Kilkivan and District who served in the South African (Boer) War, World Wars One and Two, the Korean War, the Malaysian campaigns and the Vietnam War.

Front Inscription
This memorial is dedicated to the memory of those men and women from Kilkivan and District who served their country in the Boer War, World War I, World War II and the Korean, Malaysian and Vietnam Campaigns.
Plaque :
This memorial was officially dedicated on 28th March 1996. 
The basic design was submitted by Daniel Kiorgaard.  A Year 6 student of Kilkivan State School
