This stone commemorates the contribution to the Allied cause in World War II made by students from the Maryborough State High Schools.

Unveiled on the 50th anniversary of Vicotry in the Pacific 1995.

Maryborough State High School colours of blue and brown honour and recognise the Regimental colours of the 47th Infantry Battalion (Wide Bay Regiment)

These Rosemary bushes were planted by Year 8 students on the 75th Remembrance Day, 1993 to honour the students of Maryborough State High School who died in the service of their country.
